Sample Monthly Sales Dashboard

This dashboard allows analysts and managers to monitor monthly sales metrics over time. It is highly interactive and allows users to dig into the data and explore it for themselves.

Selecting a different month on the bar graph or scatter plot will filter the dashboard to highlight that month’s performance. Likewise, selecting a sub-category and/or region will filter the rest of the dashboard to include only data for the specified selections. Hovering over the various charts provides more information.

This is powerful dashboard that can identify trends, pinpoint the best and worst sellers, and forecast future performance. However, it is not intended to be used by executives. See this post for an example of a high-level KPI dashboard intended for executive use.
